LI-CHEN Conveyors | Double Chain Fixture Conveyor
Today, we're introducing a double-chain jig conveyor that integrates a grinding machine and an arm. The two conveyors shown in the image look identical, but their operation differs. One is for feeding, and the other for discharging, allowing for manual loading and unloading. The only difference in the discharging section is the presence of a full-load detector at the end of the machine. Workpieces are manually fed in and then decelerated and stopped via fiber optic positioning. Once the workpiece reaches the designated position, the arm clamps it for the next operation. This conveyor also features a clever design: it can adjust its width to accommodate different workpiece lengths. This combination of feeding and discharging, along with the arm, significantly increases production capacity on the production line.
This dual-chain fixture conveyor is combined with a grinding machine and robotic arm. As we can see, although the structures and appearances of these two conveyors are similar, their operations are different. The one on the left is for feeding, while the one on the right is for discharging, involving manual feeding and manual collection of the workpieces. The discharging conveyor has one unique feature: it is equipped with a full-load detection sensor at the end of the machine. After the workpieces are manually loaded onto the conveyor, the conveyor uses fiber optic positioning to decelerate, stop, and lift. Once it reaches the designated position, the arm comes to grip the workpieces for the next operation. This conveyor also has a clever design. It can adjust its width according to the different lengths of the workpieces. This combination of input and output, along with the integration of the arm, greatly enhances the production capacity on the assembly line.
