Today, we're introducing a double-chain jig conveyor that integrates a grinding machine and an arm. The two conveyors shown in the image look identical, but their operation differs. This one has an infeed and an outfeed section, allowing for manual feeding and receiving. The only difference in the outfeed section is the presence of a full-load detector at the end of the machine. Workpieces are manually fed in and then decelerated and stopped via fiber optic positioning. Once in position, the arm grips the workpiece for the next operation. This conveyor also features a clever design: it can adjust its width to accommodate different workpiece lengths. This combination of infeed and outfeed with the arm significantly increases production capacity on the production line.
